UFC

Cayden recently moved to his bed (in our room still), but the last few weeks he has been having a hard time going to sleep at nap time. The other day I was watching him to see what he was doing.........um he was punching his Elmo, sally (car pillow), and McQueen (car pillow). So that was a little weird, but I thought he was just playing. I took them out and didn't think much about it. Then another day I was peeking......... Cayden was standing up in his bed holding sally in a choke hold, then he body slammed her. WHAT!!!???? He kept doing it over and over....he was really having a great time in there. Of course, I go in break up the match and take the toys away. And tell Cayden that we shouldn't hit....blah,blah. So, last night my friend Laura was over and I wanted her see this very odd behavior. Of course, she thought it was really funny, but I am very concerned. This isn't typical behavior of a 2 year old who is not exposed to any violence. So while we were talking about it, Will walks in and says, "We watch UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships) all time." WHAT!!!!!!!!! Will said,"We don't have to worry about him getting beat up in school. He is a boy!" HMMMMMMMMM.... Anyway my son has his own person UFC rink in his bed. Glad we don't go to daycare, because he might get kicked out!!!!
