Okay so it has been a really long time and a lot has changed. First my computer blew up and I lost all my pictures and business info. Since this isn't the first time this has happened, I bought an very large external hard drive thing....oh yeah, never used it!!! Hopefully, some of my files can be restore, especially my tax stuff!
I went back to work also and of course Cayden is going to daycare, but we call it school. I am teaching 4th and 5th grade at our church's school. Cayden school there as well. It is very nice that he is right there with me all day, eventhough I don't see him. I was so upset, I cried for days about leaving my little baby (you know the one who is almost 3). I couldn't even talk about it without crying. Then I find out that Cayden's teachers are Mrs. Christy and Miss Amber from my church. I was so relieved!!!!! Mrs. Christy is his teacher for most of the day and I just love her!!! Knowing this made it easier not run away on the first day of school. I dropped Cayden off, he gave me a kiss and ran into his class, "Bye Mommy, I love you!" I was left there in amazement with huge tears in my eyes as he ran off to play. No kicking, screaming, nothing....what a big boy! When I went to pick him up at 230 he cried and didn't want to leave. One of the other little boys said, "Cayden your mom is here, that means it's time to go home!" His first day was great and he only cried at naptime. With an exception of a few mornings he has gotten up excited about going to school. Cayden just loves it!!!!! I am amazed at how well he is doing! If I want a kiss I have to get one before I open the door to the daycare, because he runs in every morning! He does actually run to me now when I pick him up and he stands at the door to his class and says, "Bye guys, I am just going home now!"
Cayden is a little cranky when we get home, and it's because he doesn't get a really good nap. He likes a good 2.5 hour nap and he gets a little over an hour. Usually at night Cayden will sit down with his doodle pro and practice writing his letters that he learns at school!!! Wow, I never thought he would adjust so well...Praise God!!!
