One thing I loved growing up was the feeling around my house at Christmas time. It was always such a fun an memorable time with lots of family and friends. Well, we don't have the family here, but we have friends that have become our Elizabeth City family. We have a visitor from "Santa", his name is Petey Pablo and he is a reindeer. He watches Cayden and reports to Santa whether is good or bad. At night our friend gets into mischief. Will and I have so much fun staging Petey's mischief. Cayden puts him under the tree and says, "I wonder what that Petey is going to do tonight?" and he jumps up in the morning to find him.
Everyday we get home Cayden puts his Phineas and Ferb Christmas DVD on and I turn on Christmas music. We sing and dance. I even had Will dancing with us the other night :) Love old time Christmas songs!!! We are making lots of cookies and treats around here. Cayden and I are going out shopping today! I love the hustle and bustle of Christmas, it is just hard to buy stuff with Cayden around, but I have made it work! Very thankful for the reusable shopping bags! Well off we go hopefully we will finish up today!!!!!
