So it was super cute when Will came home from work tonight. Cayden hopped out of bed ran to the door and said, "Daddy, I didn't make it in the goal." Here is what is so funny. I really thought that Cayden didn't even care about scoring. I thought he just wanted to run and play. Will was totally right, Cayden did need his Daddy to be there. Maybe he would have played soccer more, instead of just running around. I think it is so cute how Cayden tries so hard to make his Daddy proud!
Will didn't really want Cayden to play because he wanted to go to his practices and games. After some thought Will reluctantly said go ahead. It really must have been hard to know that he wasn't going to be able to make it to one game or practice. I think that I would have been selfish and said no. But he didn't and instead we have an adult size soccer goal set up in our living room where they practice and play almost every chance they get! I wonder how different Cayden would have played if his Daddy was there? They are all asleep now in one big bed...Daddy, Cayden, bear, and his trophy.......
